2006 was not a very good year socially speaking. Twas actually better than some because I met new people, made new friends , made new enemies and became a better "actor".We are all actors at different times and on different stages and even though each new day holds suprises and there's no predicting what they are, we have to use our creativity and past experience to adopt to the situations that we face daily.
So why wasn't last year good socially?
It should have been great but it wasn't. All the socialising that i did ,the 'Hey, wassup how are you doings' and being my silly self (ain't no feeling like being me) and I was still the solo act that I have been for eons. You know that tired saying '
No man is an island' .... once upon a time thought I was an island , fast forward to the present and that attitude is deader than a dodo now , my social life is a little past wanting but not as vibrant as i would want it to be. I am not there yet. I ask myself lots of questions and ponder. Is it that I want too much, much more than is realistic? Are my expectations to high? What's the problemo? How do i let this geenie out of the bottle? This bottle right here is not the larger world where other 'geenies' get to know each other , laugh, cry and cherish each other. I know there's time for everything and that everyone needs some little time alone but when this 'alone time' turns loneliness into your bestfriend and solitude into your brethren, you get to the point you want some changes. I definately want out. If this isn't the time, then i don't think there is a time .I'm not going to be on earth eternally, I'm not going to be young forever . The clock is ticking. I've got to get out there!
